Merry Christmas To All And To All A Goodnight!!!!

First stop....Papa and Nana's house.  Santa thinks we are so good all year long he leaves us gifts at their house too.  It's either that or your Papa and Nana are still big kids inside........that's probably more like it :) 

Second stop, Uncle Jason and Aunt Alisa's house.  Ethan was ready to get to Cousin AJ's house and open presents!   One of our traditions is to break out the Wii.  Your Momma can make Slash look like rookie on the guitar...I'm just sayin' !!  Oh wait, I bet you kids will have to Google him to know who I'm talking about.  Which makes me wonder if Google will still be the leading internet search engine?????? 

Watching the kids open gifts puts the biggest smile on my face!  You kiddos get so exicted and for me to see the anticipation of whats to come.....well it makes my heart smile the size of Texas.  Thanks to everyone for making our holidays the best ever!!!!!!!  LH&K Always!

And VOILA..........we have great looking, great tasting cookies in less than 10 minutes.  This works out great since we always spend Christmas Eve with Papa and Nanny Grimes!

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

Looks like we had some good kids this year....or else Santa has selective memory!  LOL!

Yep, I'm thinking Santa chooses to forget the bad things from the year and focus on all the great blessings you kids bring to us every single day!

 I have looked forward to Christmas Eve as a Mother long before I became a mother.  The holidays are always so busy for us so we go the quick, easy route.  This year was even crazier than last, so we settled on reindeer sugar cookies by Pillsbury and they were oh so good.  Santa and Mrs. Clause LOVE cookies and milk, trust me!  This year was no different in the fact you kids received more toys than you can play with in a week.  I feel so blessed and loved by all of our families.  Thanks to all of you for loving us like you do!! Christmas With The "In-Laws"

Here they are 2 years earlier.....

Ethan and Maddie Grace's relationship is a very unique one. They have been best of friends for over 2 years now and have build a bond I feel is going to last a very long time.  You see, we didn't know her or her family prior to meeting at daycare.  This past August they were put in 2 different classes. I just knew you and MG would loose some of your connection but you 2 remain just as strong as ever.   We love you son and we love your Maddie Grace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  How wonderful it is we have a Maddie Grace and an Addi Grace.  If it hadn't been for your Daddy changing his mind 2 weeks before baby girl was born.....we would have 2 Maddi Grace's!!!!!!!  Addison is very fond of Jackson and says often "I wanna go see Jackson"!!!  Thanks to the Stacy family for being a wonderful part of all our lives!!!  We love you!  LH&K Always!!!!!!

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things..........

I love when we have picnics!!!  We have picnics in the living room floor a lot in the winter.  We have lots of blanket picnics in the back yard when the weather is permits.  I have been looking for a picnic table for you kids for the longest time and have not been able to find one I like yet.  I remember my parents taking us to the airport, we would get fast food and sit on the hood of the car and eat dinner while the planes landed.  It was so much fun!!!!  I cannot wait to do that with you kids when you get a bit older!!! Just A Pile Of Leaves.......

I don't know what it is about a pile of leaves or a puddle of water, but children tend to gravitate towards them.  I love watching your little faces, wishing I knew what you were thinking, loving every single moment I have with you.  I love you more than anything!!!!!!!!!  LH&K Always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another Bday Party....Well...Not Really

My birthday this year wasn't the most pleasant of days.  My friends and co-workers took me to lunch at Las Palmas.  Your Daddy and I had taken half a day off from work to go shopping for my bday and Christmas.  We no more pulled in the parking lot of the restaurant and daycare called.  Ethan was sick.  By the time we got there he had developed a nasty tummy bug along with his upper respitory issues.  We took him to the doctor that afternoon and what do we find out, he has Strep!!!!  It was a friday so we are so thankful the Ped's office was able to get us in on such short notice.  There is nothing worse than having to watch you kiddos when your sick, but I couldn't have had a better birthday as it turned out.  I got to cuddle my sweet baby boy ALL DAY LONG!  That would have never happened if he hadn't been sick :)  These pics are from the next day.  It always amazes me how you kids can be so sick one day and partying like a preschooler the next ;)  LH&K Always!!!
