BANANARAMA

While the rest of the world was out in the ICE playing, we were stuck inside trying to stay somewhat well.  Addi Grace had been sporting a terrible croupy cough and stuffy, runny nose since Thursday.  I was afraid she would get worse if we went out to play and since Daddy had to work, Ethan had to stay in as well.  By Saturday afternoon, we ALL had cabin fever.  Ethan wanted a tattoo on his arm like his Daddy and VOILA, I got a fantastic idea to give the kids "tramp stamps".  I could NOT stop laughing!!!!  Your Daddy wasn't real impressed.  Ethan kept convincing him he needed to keep his "tramp stamp" but alas, at the end of the evening they all came off.  We had a great day of playing, hot chocolate with marshmellows and Addi Grace fed herself her first banana.  This is not her 1st banana but her 1st attempt at doing it all by herself.  She did great. Naps were few and short.  Addi Grace was so tired after dinner she fell asleep on top of Elmo and Ethan was out cold before 9pm.  I enjoyed every single second with both of you today.  I'm so thankful we were all stuck together!  LH&K Always!

Tuesday Mornings....

I was getting ready for work Tuesday morning when this photo op presented itself.  Addi Grace loves books.  She loves you to read to her, flip through them or use them as a teething tool.  Whatever the case may be, she is simply adorable.  Ethan is my Prince Charming......

Saturday Night Lights!

I love Saturday nights where we all get our PJ's on and watch Disney movies and play. It never fails for the boys to bring out the football and throw it around a while. Romo would be out of a job if Ethan was old enough to play, I'm just sayin. The picture of Addi Grace carrying both footballs around, well she picked them both up all by herself. No help AT ALL. Daddy might not have to worry about "cleaning" his guns when the boys show up for dates afterall ;)

As you can see by the pics, Addi Grace took no time showing everyone where her Elmo was on her new PJ's. As if we didnt' look at them a million times before we could get out of Target with them. She won't hesitate to show you where her belly button or nose is either. She is one smart cookie like her Momma. In all honesty, she is smart like her Daddy too but she looks just like him so I'm gonna take MOST of the credit for her intelligence, OK!!!!! LH&K Always!

I'm Head Over Heels In Love

There are not enough words in the dictionary to express the love and adoration I feel when moments like these happen.  I could just eat you sweet babies up like icing on a cupcake!!!  Come to think of it, I already do!!!!  LH&K Always!

Spankin' Around...The New Family Pasttime

One of our favorite things to do is give spankings and i'm not talking about the "i've been bad" spankings. This has become one of our favorite, and daily, family fun things we do.  Sometimes I just give your cutie booties a little pinch when it's my turn.  I am awaiting the inevitable phone call from baby school where they tell me our son is dishing out spankings to everyone, and who knows, that call may come in for Addi Grace.  Either way, we'll have a lot of explaining to do when that day comes :-)  LH&K Always!

She finally went down for a nap. I went in to check on her and found her leg sticking out the slats of her crib.  I took pictures and then removed her leg so she wouldn't hurt something if she tried to roll over.

So, guess who our favorite NFL team is?  If you guessed Cowboys, then  you guessed right!  We love our Cowboys and we love our Razorbacks.  The Cowboys had a big victory over the Eagles and Felix Jones broke post season Cowboy records. We love our former Razorback and current Cowboy, Felix Jones!!!!  If either of you decide you don't like these teams....well.....your Daddy might put you in timeout until you come to your senses ;)  LH&K Always!

A Girl, Her Blankie and "Emo"

Addi Grace loves to roll around on the floor in a blanket.  I'm not sure why.  Her brother has never done it ,nor have I or her Daddy.  I can't tell you where this favorite past time comes from but it sure it precious and extremely entertaining for us to watch.  She loves her some Elmo, pronounced by her as "Emo".  LH&K Always!

New Year Traditions

Ethan, Addi Grace with cousins AJ and Grayce on NYE.  I would be interested to know where we would have fell on the sound meter this night.

Addi Grace was not happy when I put the backpack of trains back in the dump truck. That is the only way we can keep her from climbing in it when we are not around. She will scream very loudly letting you know there is something in her way. Once you move it is it like you are her new best friend....that is until you put the backpack back! :)

I say it often, but NYE is just another one of those traditional things we do as a family that just keeps getting better!  LH&K Always!
