The Big Green Egg Table

I love that Bryan has the patience that he does. Last night he and Peepaw started and finished building the table for his Big Green Egg. Once I got the kids home from daycare there was no turning back. The guys were no longer alone and production would slow down. Ethan had to help his Daddy and Peepaw build the table. He spent a lot of his time in the chair, out of reach of the tools, so we could keep all limbs in tact. LH&K Always!

The Sunday Paper

My sweet boy asked me if he could wear my hat. How could you ever say no to a face so sweet as his. I sure can't. I spent the remainder of the evening with "hat head" and a super sized grin. I just want to eat you up!!!!

This is the first time Addi Grace has tasted real unsweetened apple sauce. I don't think she likes the texture. Good thing big brother was standing by to graciously offer to eat the rest of it for her. Way to take one for the team ;)

She cracks me up. These has become her usual attempt at crawling. Addi Grace either hops like a frog or pushes up on the tips of her toes in an attempt at standing.

Have I told you lately how much I LOVE the weekends. Especially the ones where we wake up, get coffee, sit around in our PJ's and read the paper. Ethan goes straight for the ToysRUs ad and points out all the stuff he needs. Addison loves the sound of paper. She rolls around in it as if it were money. Wouldn't that be nice. Wake up on Sunday morning to a yellow bag full of money to go shopping with.

Fathers Day and Breakfast Buddies

Fathers Day this year was great. We surprised Peepaw at church and boy was he excited. Peepaw was telling GG how much he wished his kids were there just minutes before we walked in the door. God answer that wish pretty quick and we were happy to spend time together in worship. We received several compliments on how well the two of you behaved. You both make us so proud to have you. That afternoon we went out on the boat and met up with Maddie Grace and her family. Ethan was super excited to see her. We then went back to Papa's house to see him. He and Nana made all of us dinner and it was so good.

I as able to snap a few pictures while you kids ate breakfast together before going to school. I just love seeing how you two interact. I see just how much Addi Grace already loves her big brother and looks up to him for guidance. I know I love my big brothers even though I don't get to see them or talk to them as much as I would like. You two young'uns keep me pretty busy these days and I love it!!! :) LH&K Always!

Ok, I have to admit your Daddy is pretty good with a camera. I absolutely love this picture of you and Maddi Grace. Could they get any cuter, really??? Nah!

Son, you are off to a great start. I hope you always use your manors and open the door for a lady although, I think you were trying to push her over so you could drive!!!!

We took Ethan to Maddi Grace's 3rd birthday party today. I loved the part where you two got into her new jeep and her Dad said "Maddi Grace isn't ready for a car date". I couldn't help but laugh. Ethan got to eat Dora cake and Maddi Grace shared one of her two cookies with you. I cannot believe that my baby boy is old enough to go to a friends birthday party. Where does the time go? It's almost like we will wake up tomorrow and you will be going on real car dates. I will be sitting on the edge of my seat waiting on you to get home to tell me all about it with your Dad telling me to mind my own business. I could go into a full panic attack just thinking about you or your sister dating. Although you are getting bigger and more independent by the day, you will always be my sweet baby boy. My love for you and your sister is bigger than the entire Universe! LH&K Always!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

We ordered Pizza for Daddy's birthday dinner and had a wonderful family picnic in the living room floor. Picnics are a nice, fun adventure away from the formality of the dining table. We get to cut up and not worry about our table manners. Addison has yet to show signs of getting any teeth so she was unable to partake of the wonderful pepperoni lovers PH pizza. Aren't they the best ever!!!??? Daddy is so excited to get his smoker this week. I personally cannot wait for him to smoke me some sausage, hot dogs, ribs, chicken, pork butt and the list goes on! I think he has decided on the Big Green Egg! I hear they are WONDERFUL!! The plus side of the big green egg is that it isn't hot the touch. This way you kids will NOT get burned and there isn't a price to high for us to prevent any harm to your precious little bodies! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN DADDY!!!! Water Babies

We love that you kids enjoy the water as much as your Dad and I do. We had super fun this weekend. I put water in Addi Grace's pool and she LOVED it. She loves to splash and play. Ethan got in there with her a few times. I can't believe my first born is to big for a kiddie pool. Where has the time gone? I really hope to get better at posting blogs. We always stay crazy busy in the summer. LH&K Always!
