Old Friends and Good Times

I was super excited to see Shannon and meet her little girl Nyla.  Shannon moved to Alaska several years ago and was in town visiting her mom and dad, Terry and Lynn.  They are long time friends of our family and I use to babysit Shannon when she was a little girl.  She is all grown up now and I feel alot older after having seen her all grown up as a Mom now than I did before.  It's all good!  My life has only gotten better with each year that passes!  LH&K Always!

I Hope You Dance

"Party Like A Preschooler" is very popular at our house for dancing.  I look a hot mess when I try dancing but it is one of our favorite pasttimes.  You kids hear music and you start shaking your booties, just like your momma! Thanks Laurie and Bella for the CD, we love it!  LH&K Always!

He Is Not Here, For He Has Risen!!!!

I have no idea why GOD sent his only son to die for us.  John 3:16 tells us JESUS died so we could sin, ask for forgiveness and be forgiven.  I'm certain we do NOT deserve the love that GOD shows us each and every day.  I am even more certain of my love and appreciation for the CROSS he bear so I, and you do not have too! 

It is our goal that you children grow up with GOD's hand firmly upon you. We pray each day that he keep his hands on you, keep you healthy and happy. The best life we could ask for would be that you make it to the end of your life with your eyes still on GOD, your hearts full of the love of JESUS and us in heaven (with our loved ones who go before us) waiting to see you again!  LH&K Always!

What Are Daddy's Good For?????

My Daddy is great for all the things it your Daddy is great for too (which is why I married him and hope Addi Grace does the same)!  While I slave away in the kitchen cooking breakfast I come in the living room to find your Daddy is feeding you kids a chocolate bunny.  Seriously??  I smiled and grab the camera!  LH&K Always!!!!

Easter 2010

I have been working on this post for some time now.  There are days where I have no creativity at all with words.  This has been one of those weeks.  We had a great church service.  Addi Grace and Ethan both went to the "Wee Worship" so Daddy and I could get the message God intended for us to receive.  PeePaw, GG, Uncle Jason, Aunt Alisa, Cousins AJ and Grayce came over for lunch and an egg hunt.  We were so happy the sun was out this year so we could hunt eggs outside.  Easter is another one of those holidays that keeps getting better with each year.  I love you all so much!  LH&K Always!

What A Great Day

We left early Saturday morning for Papa and Nanny's house.  Nana, Addi and I had a girls day of lunch and shopping planned.  We left the boys home to watch tv, eat and sleep.  Our girls day started at Red Lobster, one of your Momma's favorites.  We then hit the mall or should I just say Dillards.  We did get to look at this childrens boutique for a quick second but Nana had bought so much for you kids at Dillards we honestly couldn't carry anything else.  Nana and I couldn't help but smile when the neighbor asked us if Dillards was having a sale. We laughed and replied something like "not that we know of" because we honestly didn't know....I see where I get my retail therapy disorder from ;)

Addi Grace, you don't stand a chance at escaping what is clearly going to be handed down from one generation to the next. We had you in the dressing room at Dillards trying on at least 15 outfits, most of which your Nana bought! You were so great. All you wanted to do was put on an outfit, run across the hall and check out the pretty girl in the mirror. Your Nana and I had the best of time watching you! I look forward to our next girls day out.

We got back from our shopping trip and played ball outside.  Addi Grace LOVED Papa's dancing dog Nana got him for Valentines Day.  It sings "I'm Just A Love Machine" while it dances.  Addi would hand it to Papa, push the button on the dogs foot, take it back from Papa, put it on the floor then kiss it.  We spent a lot of time watching her Push, Pick Up, Take Back and Kiss!

Get Well Ethan

This is the card his class made for him on Friday.  It is so sweet his friends and teacher love him so much!

Your "girlfriend" Maddie Grace wrote you the longest note....like your Daddy said "that figures" ;)

No turning back now.  Ethan can turn the lights on without his stool.  Our boy is getting so big and we LOVE IT!!!!!

Ethan started running fever late Wednesday evening.  His fever was over 103 Thursday morning so I got the privelage of staying home and taking care of my sweet boy.  We rocked ALL DAY LONG.  We even cuddled up on the couch for a 2 hour nap.  He is usually so busy he won't sit still long enough for me to have really good cuddle time.  I'll use vacation for this any day. 

GG came to stay with Ethan Friday morning.  He was so excited she was coming that he couldn't wait for her to get here.  From what I heard, they both had a great day together!  Thanks for taking such good care of Ethan, GG!!!!!
