Surprise Visits R-O-C-K!!!!

This was one of your sweetest moments, baby girl.  You insisted on getting in the chair with your Papa and sat right on his lap.  It's amazing how baby girls can make pain go away, if just for a second! 

I don't think your Nana and Papa's car can pass our stretch of the interstate without making a pit stop by our house.  The longevity of their visits vary depending on how much time they have but I love how they always make time for us.  Since I took a job in the "big city" and moved away I don't get to spend the time with them that I would like, however it sure makes my little girl heart feel special when they make us a priority in their day. 

On another note, Sadie has found a new bed!!!!  She actually growls at us when we try to get her, BRAT!

The Dog Ate It

Baking brownies has become a weekly activity around our house  thanks to my dear girlfriend, Leslie.  Ethan loves to take them in his lunch to school and it is a great bargaining tool for us as well.  Ethan would stand on a chair and help me mix everything together until Addi Grace decided she needed to stand on a chair and help too.  We now mix brownies in the floor so you both can help and I LOVE IT!!!!!  I know there are raw eggs in the mix but kids need to be kids, right!  Licking the bowl is a MUST and apparently that goes for Sadie too!!!  I'm laughing as I type this and reflect back on last night!  There is so much joy in watching the two of you grow up!  I don't feel as if I deserve either of you but am so very thankful God picked me to be your Mommy!  LH&K Always!

I don't have to tell you we never have a dull moment.  It gets louder and more chaotic with each day.  There is a lot of Ethan yelling at Addi Grace, Addi Grace yelling at Ethan, Daddy yelling at both of them, Mommy yelling at Daddy for yelling at them and Daddy yelling at Mommy for yelling at him.   I laughed again reading this but it is sooooooooooo our lives these days :)   I'm more in love with your Daddy today than I was yesterday and the love I have for you kids, well lets just say there aren't enough words.  My heart and soul is more than full today thanks to you, my precious family!  LH&K Always!

Crib Crashers

Ethan has gotten in a habit of climbing into Addi Grace's crib.  He hears when she gets up, either in the mornings or after naptime, and uses his sink stool to climb in.  Only problem, he can't get out ;)  LH&K Always!

Weatherman, Say What?

It was really nice this year to get snow.  What was even better is the 4 of us got to ride the 4-wheeler together.  Ethan was in front, then Daddy, Addi Grace and I.  Addi loved it the first few minutes and then she was done.  That is alright with me cause Mommy doesn't like being cold either baby girl so we make a great pair (as if we didn't know that already).  I didn't get many pictures because we were busy having fun while we were out.  We came in to hot chocolate and marshmellows.  Naptime came and the electricity went off, how convenient!  We had a great family day/snow day together but I am ready for it to be gone!  LH&K Always!
